GENERAL INFORMATION Ventilation ducts, designed and manufactured according to the silo capacity and the characteristics of the product to be stored, are installed into the concrete foundation of the silo during its construction. These ducts are then covered with specially designed, perforated galvanized sheet metal, tailored to the specific product. OBİAL uses ALFAN brand radial and axial fans of various capacities for ventilation of the product stored in silos of different diameters and capacities. OBİAL ventilation ducts allow dust and pesticides generated inside the silo to easily exit. These ducts have a sloping structure and wire mesh fronts. These meshes prevent birds and similar foreign matter from entering the silo. Thanks to their sloping structure, they also prevent rain and snow from entering. For situations requiring more air output, OBİAL produces ventilation fans with a 560 mm blade diameter. This fan has a wire mesh inlet and a louvered outlet. The louvers are designed to open when the fan is running and close when the fan is not running. OBİAL also produces mobile tunnel ventilation ducts made of galvanized sheet metal, reinforced with corrugated sheets and interconnectable, to solve ventilation problems in horizontal grain storage facilities.
